These aren’t cookie-cutter tours. Our experiences are crafted by locals, often unavailable anywhere else — not on Airbnb Experiences, Viator, or GetYourGuide. This is real access — through people, not platforms.
✈️ Arrival and Departure Logistics
All participants should plan to fly into and out of Mexico City International Airport (MEX – Benito Juárez).
We include airport transfers on your official arrival and departure days as part of your package.
✳️ Arriving early or staying late?
No problem — we’re happy to arrange private transfers for you outside of the main program dates for an additional fee. Just let us know your travel plans!
Is Mexico City Safe?
Mexico City is considered safe for tourists, and you'll be with lifelong locals on your experiences. Common sense goes a long way. Our tour operators also use all standard safety measures. You should always have your own travel insurance and travel health insurance. Adhering to our safety guidelines and community code of conduct is a must.
How can I modify my plans if needed? Can I cancel or get a refund?
Reach out to us via our contact form. Different tours have different cancellation or change policies. Generally speaking all tours will happen rain or shine. If the tour operator cancels we'll try to re-schedule with you. If re-schedule is not possible, we will refund your money via credit or back to the original payment method on file.
Refund Policy for Experiences
You may request refunds up to 7 days before travel or for extenuating circumstances; we will always provide them if we cancel a tour and you cannot attend an alternative date. We do not provide refunds after 7 days before your purchased event, but you may transfer your experience or request a credit for a future experience. Just contact us and we will be happy to work out a solution.
Refund Policy for One Month Work and Travel Trips
Up to 3 days post booking: There is a 3 day cancellation window after purchase or deposit, after which we have already reserved your accommodation, workspace and other essentials that are non refundable on our end so after 3 days (including weekends), there are no refunds offered. If you cancel within the 3 day period, a refund is offered minus the 3.6 percent credit card processing fee that we are charged, which we have to pay even if a refund is issued.
3+ days after booking:
No refunds. However you may transfer or re-sell your purchase to someone else or postpone the trip to another open month in the future if something comes up. You would be responsible for notifying us of the transfer or postponement.
Of course if for any reason we were to cancel a trip, then you would receive a full refund to the payment method used to make the original purchase.
Also keep in mind international travel and experiencing new cultures is going to be different, fun, but at times outside of your comfort zone. Our team will work hard to make sure you have an epic trip. Inconveniences happen once in a while. For example, the internet could be slow or go out for an hour at your apartment, or the elevator in your building might not be working for a few hours so you may have to take the stairs, in these cases we will work with landlords and with you to find a quick solution but there are no refunds or discounts offered if you experience an inconvenience or don't vibe with someone in the group, etc. We're all adults so we expect everyone to come with a positive attitude, respectful approach, and open mind to enjoy everything CDMX has to offer.
